I believe every person carries deep worth, even when life tries to convince us otherwise. My paintings explore that space between vulnerability and strength, presence and absence.
I work mostly with water-mixable oils, slowly building transparent layers and soft transitions that hold memory and emotion. Sometimes I tuck in bits of collage, embroidery, or gold leaf—little surprises that invite you to linger and look closer.
Painting isn’t just what I do. It’s how I process life. It’s my way of reclaiming my own voice and offering a quiet place for you to recognize your significance. My hope is that when you see my work, you’re reminded that even the quietest voices (including yours) truly matter.
Back in 2009, my husband Robert started sponsoring a child through Compassion International. However, I was sceptical that it would really make a difference. Then in 2016, we traveled to Uganda to meet the children we sponsor. (Right before we left, I started sponsoring a child, too.) Seeing the impact firsthand changed everything for me.
Now, 15% of every art purchase goes to organizations fighting poverty and social injustice around the world. When you bring a piece of my art into your home, you’re not just collecting a painting. You’re linking stories with me and helping create lasting change.
